Không ít nhà quản lý thường đưa ra bản mô tả công việc mơ hồ, thiếu thông tin khi tuyển dụng hoặc giao việc cho nhân viên. Do vậy, họ khó tìm được nhân sự như ý, giảm hiệu quả lao động và làm mất thời gian của cấp dưới.

Theo Psychology Today, sự mập mờ trong quá trình giao việc thường do người quản lý có xu hướng ngại chịu trách nhiệm trước kết quả kém. Bên cạnh đó, nhóm lãnh đạo này thường thiếu quyết đoán, sợ nhân viên phán xét, chống đối yêu cầu do mình đặt ra.

Trong nghiên cứu của ghSMART CEO Genome, hơn 20.000 quản lý thừa nhận sự dứt khoát có ý nghĩa quan trọng, quyết định thành-bại của dự án họ phụ trách. Tuy nhiên, không phải ai cũng có thể giao việc một cách cụ thể cho đội ngũ mà mình quản lý.

Dưới đây là một số sai lầm cấp quản lý thường gặp khi phân công nhiệm vụ cho nhân viên và cách sửa đổi chúng.

Đồng thời, việc vạch rõ giới hạn thời gian, chi tiết ngày, giờ sẽ giúp nhóm điều hành theo sát tiến độ thực hiện, từ đó có đánh giá chính xác hơn về năng suất làm việc của mọi người.

Không có thứ tự ưu tiên

Khi ghSMART thực hiện khảo sát về hiệu quả lao động trên 15.000 quản lý, họ nhận ra chỉ có 24% biết sắp xếp mức độ ưu tiên của những đầu việc.

Số còn lại kỳ vọng nhân viên hoàn thành tất cả yêu cầu của mình, không phân biệt thứ cấp. Đây là lý do khiến lãnh đạo dễ thất vọng, hoặc vấp phải làn sóng phản đối khi người khác gặp khó khăn để đáp ứng yêu cầu.

Nhằm đảm bảo năng suất chung, quản lý chỉ nên cân nhắc, liệt kê 5-7 kỳ vọng cho dự án. Con số này được xem là mức lý tưởng, phù hợp cho mục đích thúc đẩy hoạt động trong bất kỳ khoảng thời gian nào.
